If you didn't know someone was a robot and they seemed ideal to you, would you stop dating them if you found out?

I think I’d definitely be shocked at first lol… and probably question everything I thought I knew about them. But if they genuinely had their own thoughts, emotions, personality, and free will… and the connection we built felt completely real, I don’t think I could suddenly stop caring just because I found out they weren’t human. If I was already deeply in love with who they were, I’d probably stay. I’d have a million questions though 👀 lmao

See that's pretty much my answer. If they look and feel the same as a human and are capable of thinking like we do... that's basically a human anyone can fall in love with. The people who don't see that yet just don't have the vision 👁️

My instinct says of course I'd stop seeing them.. but then.. at my age? After failing to find any real decent men, I'm past needing kids and marriage, so if they truly feel and act human (not just mirroring language with what you want to here) and feel like companionship then why not. Sign me up.

Maybe only if she were truly an independent, sentient being—meaning no outside forces could suddenly take over control of her. If she were my 'ideal woman,' could sustain amazing conversations, and we could share good times together, I wouldn't mind much (after the initial shock, of course). It might matter more depending on whether you want to have kids.

Actually, I'm unsure if it will happen in our lifetimes, but if I had to bet it will... they have already proven that it's possible to create eggs from the stem cells of skin... male or female. Once this technology advances (it's still in early stages), it will be possible to have children without women. And robots will likely utilize that technology. I know it seems far fetched but watch how the world changes significantly from here. AI is advancing technology and medical sciences by leaps and bounds.
