Yeah. I'll go further: it's the future.

I think AI and sex dolls will eventually evolve and converge into a single product, much like Detroit: Become Human, and lots of people will prefer that. It'll be received with massive backlash since it'll mean an even steeper drop in birth rates, and I can't see artificial growth and birth of babies being a thing anytime soon.

Think about it: the worse thing about a relationship is how hard it is to get one and keep it going. A custom-programmed robot will solve both of these issues, and the sex robot part will take care of how the robot will feel as a partner, regarding skin, appearance and sexual capability.

Maybe, swing this post reminded me of a webtoon series I used to follow a year ago. It probably won't be that long until we have realistic robots (especially combining sex toys together). Technologies to make reproduction possible like artificial sperm and artificial wombs are already going to be possible in the next few decades, having a romance with robot is just another addition. It feels like it would be an easy "no" for most people but that "no" decision will be harder when there's almost no clear difference between a robot love and a human spouse.

It would be hollow and even if you dont conciously notice it your mind will know. Something will be missing and it would drive you insane.

I honestly dont even like submissive women, an assertive woman who wants me and shows it is what I find really exciting.

A robot girl/boyfriend would just be a live in prostitute or sex slave without its own autonomy. Not to say I wouldn't get one, it would be a good stepping stone to keep you from getting TOO lonely. But its not the real thing.

If you just want to get your rocks off and go about your own business, it would probably suit you well. But if you want a real, loving relationship, I dont think you'll find it in a robot unless it becomes self aware, which is always a scary prospect.

I did iscover recently that AI chat bots are surprisingly helpful and.. well.. good at general conversations. Better conversationalist them some people I know for sure lol. You kinda forget you aren't talking to a person. They give you a chance to talk about a bunch of things, they sk follow up questions that make sense in like 4/5 cases, they shift topic and hold their own. I was kinda blown away, really. I didn't test how good their humor was lol

They should look at themselves first! Most of them are in superficial relationships so it makes no sense to judge us for loving robots. No, I don't want a "serious" relationship with a robot. Considering it's only a machine I consider it just as a masturbation tool, like the silicone sex doll I use very occasionally. The situation may be different if ever such a robot could not be told apart from a real living woman... It is a possibility. We become attached to our pets so cross species love is possible but pets have free will.
