Hello,
So basically, I recently went on a date with this one girl. I met this girl at the mall. She was walking past me on the other side of the mall and I looked back and she was already looking back at me and she smiled at me. I decided to approach her because I thought she was attractive. We ended up exchanging contact info and we talked online and on the phone.
We then went on 2 dates. We kissed after the first date. We didn't talk about our age until our 2nd date. I told her I was a veteran from the air force and she acted surprised because she thought I was closer to her age (18-20). I've met a lot of people who thought I was in that age group and they think I look young, but I'm actually 24. She then told me that she is 18 and I was drinking water when she told me and I almost spat my water out. I told her my age and she didn't react negatively to it.
All of my friends who are around my age gap, have told me that dating 18-20 year olds is like crazy. So her telling me this and after kissing her is kind of crazy. All of my friends would tell me that this is gross. I then told her that I almost spat my water out because it went down the wrong hole.
I recently told one of my friends this situation from high school and he's 25. He told me that this is gross.
We are still talking and she actually wants to go on a third date and she wants to hangout at her place, but I'm not really sure what to do. This feels wrong but not like a grave mistake.
Like when I was her age, she was 12. She told me that she recently graduated high school. And doesn't turn 19 until January. Like we do get along and we talk a lot. To put this into perspective, she was the first ever girl I kissed and dated and actually had a talking stage with.

To summarize:
* You don't know what "gross" means
* You care more about what your friends think than your own thoughts
* You seem willing to let advice from strangers on GAG influence your own heart? LOL including mine.
Since you are, allow me to do some quick math for you. At 24, it sounds like you have the emotional maturity of a 19 -20 year old. At 18, she's probably about the same. In other words, emotionally you're a match, or she's beyond you already and you'll need to catch up.
Do this: If you are afraid of what your friends will think of you for continuing to date her, even if you really like her, then do her a favor and walk away now. A six year age gap is nothing. If you were 30 and she were 24, you wouldn't think twice and your friends would be back-slapping you. Big deal. Have some rocks, man.
You start every sentence with the word "like". You belong with an 18 year old. You're fine. 18-24 is not an insurmountable age gap and it's not crazy or gross. But she may be really immature, insecure, and annoying. And she's still in the experimenting age range. She may not be looking for a forever relationship.
Congratulations, Gag has reached a new level of stupidity.
You should have gone anon just to fit in.
Yes, anyone this immature should not be dating.
That is up to you if you want to end it. I think it is more about how well you get along and the level of maturity she has. Age is just a number as some say. Do you see any future with her?
That's a lot of text for something as irrelevant as a 6 year age gap between 2 adults...
Oh boy. Another "man" who can't find a fully grown adult woman his own age. -____-
So you just won the lottery and now you want to give all the money back? Sure, that makes perfect sense.
you're kidding, right?
Nothing wrong
18 is legal
