I dare say it ‘may’ be true but not admitted to for a tiny minority of women or men but largely the meme assumes women eventually find money attractive , which I don’t believe to be true at all. The real question is why some men find it easier to believe that than to accept that attraction is influenced by dozens of factors, many of which have nothing to do with money. Perhaps it’s because they may have to admit their actual failings that to blame it on not being a billionaire.

Money can increase attraction. It cannot substitute for attraction. Plenty of rich men discover that the hard way.

Women prefer men with money 100% of the time and they literally always have. The “prince” in fairytales is based on women’s desire to be obscenely wealthy.

I think it's mixing two different things.

Money can make someone seem more desirable, but that isn't the same as genuine attraction.

If money is the only thing that changed, maybe it wasn't attraction that changed in the first place.

Nah, it's an accurate interpretation. Guys think money will buy all women and the ones that are attracted to it are labeled gold diggers and then used up before guys want to "settle down" with a true wifey. We do want some form of security whether it be emotional or financial, but the guy doesn't have to be loaded.
