I know. I actually allowed a guy to ask for my number after he sort of chased me down the street to talk to me. I thought he was gutsy enough to rush after a stranger and talk her up, but it was his good manners that got me. I actually told him to thank his mom the next time he talks to her bc he has such good manners. He smiled and asked me out on the spot. Very sweet guy, though having gone out with him he's also rather socially awkward.

Yes, indeed. It was one of the first things I noticed about my current boyfriend when I met him. He was super polite and did the little things like hold the door open and push my chair in when I sat down.

Yes! Does he do the protective "walk on the outer side of the street" thing? I find that so endearing.

Yep! Always offers his arm when we are in a crowd. Our schools football games get over 100k fans at home. I get lost easily, lol.

Stuff like that is what I heard of my mom and dad's generation. Just those little things can really make a girl feel special and loved.
