She said she's too busy after she said she would love to after I asked her out?

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place right now.

Long story short, not too long ago, i asked out the girl i like in person, i asked her out for coffee, and she said yes, she would love to, but she's always working. I left it at that for then, but today i followed up properly.

I asked her today when are we getting coffee?, she explained she's very busy, and something about her family in another state, etc. I know she works 6 days a week every week, and the only day she's free is Sunday. Sunday being the day the coffee date would be.

I then clarified asking about Sunday, she said she's busy with work, and things with her mom and some other things. She didn't mention another time but i didn't expect her to.

So she said she would love to get coffee and now i find out she's genuinely too busy to get coffee, how should i take this? what do i do? is this a rejection?

Sounds like she is genuinely busy right now.

Suppose you do go out and you do hit it off, go into a relationship etc. It sounds like you'll never be a priority. I think that's what you should infer from your exchanges so far. Is that what you want?

We've been good friends for at least a year and have good rapport and we seem to like eachother, but I guess work and family is more important to her right now, which I understand.
