Yes, I have several times. Either on a vacation or later, when I lived in a tourist location. The one that lastest longest was six months. It's usually way shorter.
Worth it or not so much?
I was younger back then, early 20s. Yes, of course. I travelled to two of the countries pursuing what I thought would work out. But unless one of the two people involved moves, long distance relationships are not easy.
I kind of did this summer. I have a very casual friends with benefits in college who was away for he summer. We both were ok if each other had some summer fun as long as condoms were used all the time. I got into a bit of a fun fling with a girl from work and we had some fun times but no strings attached.
Yup! Summertime where I live is also very touristy haha
Then you know what it is like. Here, they all have this three month relationship and then split. Haha.

You have to wonder with some of these people. We get tens of thousands that flock here for a few months. I have seen some of the crazy boat parties out on the water.
Lots of young college aged people all getting together for the few summer tourist months and then split town right around the end of August. I don't get it haha.
