Yes, I had been dating a girl for a few months. It really was not going very well and I was planning on dumping her right after we went to a concert. I was planning on driving to Colorado with a kid. I was planning on finding a job out there and staying for a while or maybe forever. I had impacted wisdom teeth that were causing me problems so I wanted to have them pulled out before I went. By the time i had them pulled out and the swelling went down I called this kid to tell him I was good to go. His mother told me had left without me. I was angry but decided I would go to my family's vacation house for Memorial Day. I was planning on giving up dating and just wanted to go up there with a friend and go fishing , drink beer and cook steaks on the grill. I was working in the yard when a group of people walked by. My friend was talking to them and I was doing my best to ignore them. I looked at them and I noticed this girl that was standing behind everyone. She had big brown eyes and the prettiest smile I ever saw. She saw me look at her and shyly turned away. They were on the way to the beach.
I was still out in the yard when they walked back. I stopped and talked to this girl and she told me she just graduated from college and I told her I just ran a marathon. I saw her look down at my legs as if she was trying to decide it I was making that up. I was trying to find out what her name was but she would not volunteer it.
I ran into her in the grocery store the next day and walked with her back to her grandmother's house. I still could not find out her name. I went home but still wanted to find out who she was. Then i remembered that she told me she just graduated from college. So I drove to where she went to school and went to the library and got the class yearbook. I went through it until I found her picture. Then I drove to the town where she lived and went to the library and got a local phone book and got her phone number. It took me a couple of days to work up the nerve to just call her out of the blue. Finally I decided it was go big or go home.. She did not seem very thrilled to hear from me and she asked me how I found out her phone number.. When I told her the story about the yearbook she was pretty impressed, However, she told me that she had just accepted a job out of state and was leaving in a few days. I figured it was just my typical bad luck. I never thought I would see her again.
A few weeks later I went back there on the 4th of July. I ran into this girl again. This time we spent a lot of time together and at the end of the weekend I invited myself to drive up the coast 300 miles to visit. She said tha tshe would like that. So in two weeks I drove my chevy hatchback up the coast to see her. We had an awesome weekend together and that was the start of an awesome relationship that has lasted over 27 years.
but I do remember a very little thing, during one of my most difficult summers and we went on a bus trip to a few places...
there was this other girl my age that was also travelling with her family, and I was way too shy to ever say hi or anything like that but we just kept looking for each other and having those eye-meeting-smiles from time to time
well she smiled, I'm not sure I did lol... and then every stop during the trip was an almost-chance to approach and at least say hi but... I never did
we were just kids (teens) and nothing really happened, but to me it was a very important thing in my life, lol... to feel like I could feel happy again and with any chance to "love"
I used to be with this guy I met in 6th grade and there was this girl who didn't like him but all of a sudden jumped all over him and got with him, I told him I liked him and he liked me back but he didn't want the other women to know so he stayed with her, one day he told me he was going to break up with her, after the summer we came back to school at this time I was in 7th grade and I told him does he like me back and he did d So we got together but after a while he didn't spend much time with me and he speaks to other women so I broke up with him and now he's with someone that he treated better than me so I left him because I don't need that, by then his ex who stole him came back and said "you should get back with your boyfriend because you two were great for another" and I was like I don't like him and I don't need him treating me like shit so now to this day were friends lol
When I was a teenager, there was this girl names Brandy that used to visit her grandmother every summer. Her grandmother lived next door.
She'd come to visit every year the first week of June. The girl and I used to hang out when she visited. One summer she and I were hanging out in this park that we used to go to, and we were talking and grew silent for a moment, and looked into each others eyes and kissed.
I really thought this was something that happens in movies and only in movies. After we kissed, we went for walks, went to the mall, hung out at each other's houses. Before she went back to Delaware, she gave me her address to write. We wrote for a while, but when I moved, I lost her letters and her address.
She was probably the sweetest girl I ever met. She wasn't all psycho like these other girls I dated. There's something that will never happen again! lol
I don't remember any just in the summer time but when I was about 12 or 13 I had a neighbor and her cousins use to come stay in the stay with them for the summer. Her oldest cousin Jasmine use to like me and every summer they came I remember like 3 it was like we automatically were boyfriend and girlfriend again.. lol...
Yes, I it was with a coworker/lifeguard at the beach I was working. She was my first true love and it broke my heart when we had to go back to school. I felt empty for weeks/months afterwards.
Probably just the girl I lifeguarded with in high school. Summer fling that was pretty fun and just stopped after summer. Lol

Was kinda short lived but a few years ago I had a relationship that was close to romance. I met a girl that we really had instant chemistry, we went on a few dates and ended up having sex about 5 times. Then she had to go back home and I only talked to her once on the phone then her number said was disconnected. Next time I seen anything about her a friend of her that knew about me sent me copy of an announcement of her getting married to another guy.
Yes what I went away for the summer I was 19 we had the best time then I have to go home at the end of the summer and we lost touch and never seen her again
Yes, quite a scar on my heart. we date or i think we dated for Summer. he said he like me but then after school started he suddenly started to ignore me, treated me very bad and then suddenly breaked all contacts with me... so much for summer love🙂
Nope. Apparently when I was 6 I crushed on a girl who was our neighbor at the summer house we rented. She was 12, and she played with me for hours every day
