Is there really such a thing as a soul mate in relationships?

The reason why I'm asking this question is because I wanted to know does anyone know if there is such thing as a soul mate and for example men finds his soul mate with a woman he cares about and that is the only one example I can think of and please appropriate opinions and please no inappropriate opinions

The whole (soul mate) idea sounds romantic, but it’s kind of a setup because real love isn’t about finding someone who completes you. It’s about two whole people who decide to grow together, forgive the mess, and keep showing up.
Just two happy people who happen to fit and they make it work because they want to. So nah, I don't buy the whole soul mate thing.

I believe there is such a thing, but I don't believe there is only one other person on Earth it could be. I believe someone we are compatible with can grow to become our soulmate.
