Formally it is not a red flag.
Say a woman is spectacularly attractive. Way out of my league but she seems really grounded, really nice and is paying attention to me in a way that if she was a less attractive woman would make think I was onto a sure thing.
I might well decide to not even ask her to have coffee with me sometime. There have been a couple of times kinda like this - maybe I made the wrong call at the time.
There are many reasons I would refuse a date that are not red flags. One is intellectual incompatibility. I am secular and won't date anyone who believes without evidence, whether it's religion or astrology or reiki or psychic fortune telling.
If it wasn't because of red flags, it might be because I'm already involved with somebody else, or because it's just inconvenient, or because the person is too old or too young, or is otherwise involved with someone else.
