I missed our first date because I overslept and now he’s mad—what do I do?

We made plans on seeing each other yesterday at 3pm but obviously I was so tired I overslept now he mad at me saying it’s a bad impression n now won’t respond back to me

Honestly your best bet is just to move on. If I was him, knowing this about you, there wouldn’t have even been a first date. I’m not saying men shouldn’t date single mothers, but this is an example of things to come. You work so much because it sounds as though your child’s father doesn’t help you. Maybe he does and you just love money that much. Or you’re struggling as a single mother. Second, as a man you’ll always come second to the child. Which is how it should be. So men if you’re expecting to be spontaneous, to be her 1st priority it’s not gong to happen. But ye si think you’re better off moving on. I work the same schedule you do. Plus if you’re working nights that many hours a week, you’re not going to have time for a serious relationship. I think k eventually the man will get tired of it and move on.

because that's just the truth. I see people having step dads and step moms all the time. It's not as uncommon as you think it is. Just because you won't date as single mom, it does not mean no one will. I'm not a single mother by the way. I'm just stating what I've seen. you sound like you dont leave the house too much

U actually right I work all those hours because my child father don’t help me. And im thinking about getting a second job to be able to support me and my son because things so high. I really don’t have time to be able to date because im always tired or working. The guy said it’s bullshit because I fall asleep but I work a lot of hours and have a kid. I feel like he don’t understand

you're better off giving your child to someone who can babysit for cheap, like your mom or dad or aunt.

Really think about advancing your education so you can make more money in the future because things will only get more expensive as time goes on. In 10 years, you will be working 3 jobs to support yourself. It's not going to work long term.

I spent 1 yr in school to become an LPN, nurse. It's so worth the suffering.

I once scheduled a date with a guy who ended up missing out first date because he overslept. I'm eventually found out he was a shit bag. I'm glad I didn't give him another chance.

What were you doing oversleeping at 3pm, you should have up and about hours before that.

Out of curiosity, what time did you actually go to bed to start with?

I work 3rd shift

I work from 6:30pm to 7am

When I got off 7am I went to sleep at 10am because I don’t get help anyone watching my son till a certain time. So I sleep long hours. I work 50 to 60 hours every week
