He canceled our date because he is hungover, how should I react?

So I have been seeing this guy for the past month and things have been going great. However, we haven't seen each other in about a week and a half because be have both been busy. We had plans to go out today, and he checked in last night to confirm... then I get a text from him this morning saying he is hungover and can't make it.

I am not really angry, just a bit disappointed that he went out and got wasted last night knowing we had plans today. Anyway, I would really like to see him again soon since its been a while, however I don't want to let him off scott free.

How should I react to this?

I'd not answer any messages from him for a while, just so he gets the message. If you don't ever hear from him again after that...what have you lost?

Just be cool with it, tell him it's all good. I mean, you're not official and these things happen :)
