Why does my experience dating via online apps and in person differ?

I would physically meet up with guys from online such as reddit, okcupid, craigslist. A lot of them end up falling for me eventually. Not all of them are for dating... some are for cuddle buddies, or just hangout friends. All of them saying that I'm the sweetest girl they've ever met or that I'm a great person. But in real life, guys pay me no attention. I barely get any interest. Even if I do talk to a guy in real life... it's just small talk. He never asks for my number

Usually because people that are online, don’t have any luck meeting people in person so there’s going to be a difference in the type of people you meet
