Women with a learning disability aged 25 years old. Will real life dating be similar to online dating or not? I have noticed men don't approach me apart from social events then I do sometimes do get app i hasn't much luck with online dating trying to get a boyfriend or long term relationship. I rejected some online dating men that I did meet up with in real life. I will also be going to new social events in the city centre. Would real life be the same as online dating? I noticed some differences and some not from real life dating and some from online dating. men don't take notice any form of body language that women are giving to okay to approach or is other things that stop some men to approach some women? I have also started to watch people in pubs. There is not much social events for people that have learning disabilities has to go outside of town to get to know more people and find social events from the city centre. This is going to make dating even more difficult in real life or online dating What are the similarities and differences between in-person dating and online dating?
After the initial meeting it's the same. The difference is what you know before the first date. Online you may know that you have compatible values and goals. If there's a written profile them you have an idea of their literacy. You know more than you would meeting a stranger and agreeing to a date after a bit of conversation. But you won't be sure of their appearance or whether you can hold a conversation until you meet them. For that reason, I advise people dating online to immediately proceed to a meeting. Keep it short, coffee or lunch.
