Is your local gym a good place to find a casual date?

I don't go to the local gym, but I think most people go there to work out, not to pick up or get picked up for a casual date. Having said that, I'm sure it does occasionally happen.

I have belonged to gyms for a long time, but I would not say that it is a good place to meet people for dating. Most women are there to get in some exercise and not really to talk to guys. There are exceptions of course. Over the many years that I've been going, I have met maybe two women at the gym who I dated. But that is over a long time.

not sure... as I really never tried before, however... I'd venture to guess that this is probably not a good idea

the actual local gyms at my place are a bit too popular with certain kind of people that's probably better left alone in this regard... as they're actually looking to get a workout, and not casual sex

Outside of work and life at home all of us have very little community time. The gym is a place that people go to regularly. It's as good a place to meet people as any, regardless of the reason.

Outdoor gyms and speciality gyms like climbing gyms and etc are good spots.
