Why do some white men seem to prefer East Asian women over South Asian women?

I am married to a woman from China. Before meeting her, I dated women from India, Vietnam, and the Phillipines, as well as Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Ireland, Colombia, and Brazil. However, most of the women I dated were born in the US. I think I have a good amount of experience to assist in answering your question.

1. There are light-skinned women from South Asia and dark skinned women from East Asia. In all Asian cultures with which I am familiar, light-skinned women are considered more pretty, and so light-skinned Asian women have more confidence. CONFIDENCE in a woman is more attractive than her skin tone.

2. Nose shapes. Yes, that varies to some extent between regions of Asia, but even within a particular country, e. g., India, there is a great variation in nose shapes between different regioins.

3. Chest/butt is smaller. Wi9thin recent history, this stereotype was true and was related to the poor nutrition caused by bad government policies concerning agriculture. As nutrition across Eastern Asia has improved, women have develop much more like Western women.

4. Media portrayal is better. I have no idea where this thought originated. I have never thought I had a stronger public image when I was walking next to an Asian woman.

5. They put out quicker. Like Western women, very few Asian women - Southern or Eastern - are waiting for marriage. But I never thought I would get sex quicker by dating an East Asian woman.

6. They readily throw themselves at white boys. I will admit that I am an old white boy. I have never had an Asian woman pull down her panties and demand a routine maintenance from Mr. Goodwrench. All of them waited until we were dating exclusively and they felt trust for me.

There are men who are obsessed with dating Oriental women. This is a syndrome called "Yellow Fever" by Asian people. I don't have Yellow Fever.

There are Asian women who are strikingly beautiful and, since I like petite women, I find Asian women very attractive, but there are American women who are very attractive also. I did not marry my wife because she is Chinese. I married her because she is a genuinely good person, gentle, kind, soft-spoken, smart, and she always conducts herself consistent with her beliefs.

We really couldn’t care less about skin tone, boob size and we don’t like makeup all by a landslide margin. There’s been multiple polls of each over the years. You ask, we tell, you don’t listen
