Can you really tell if someone loves you based on TV and movie romance?

Like, sometimes, or all the time, we judge that a person's in love with someone is from what we see from tv shows and movies. From what you see from tv shows and movies, will you know if a person is in love with you? Like, would you judge the love from another person based on what you see on tv or from the movies? If i'm making any sense because we, the audience, know a person's in love with someone from scenes where one character processes, talks, or show their romantic feelings in front of us.

Honestly, no. Movies and TV shows have taught us to recognize love through grand gestures, passionate confessions, jealousy, and dramatic sacrifices. But real-life love doesn't always look like that. Sometimes, love is quiet. It's consistency, respect, honesty, consideration, and showing up for someone even when there's nothing exciting happening.


In movies, we get to see a character's inner thoughts, private conversations, and emotional struggles, so we understand what they feel even when they don't say it. In real life, we don't have access to someone's inner world. We can only observe their actions, listen to their words, and pay attention to whether those things align.


That's why I believe we shouldn't judge someone's love solely by what we've learned from romance on screen. Movies can teach us what love might look like, but only real-life experiences, honest communication, and consistent actions can help us understand what someone actually feels. ❤️
