Is social media driving the dating disconnect and lack of trust in the U.S.?

I feel it’s social media. There’s a lot of topics towards this. Everyone is drinking the koolaid. We’re so glued to it. Not a president or political party. Back before even MySpace came, dating was awesome. I dated a lot. No pressure or anything. Now no one trusts each other. It’s saddening that we have one life to live and it’s come down to what we read. Do I have F. B? Yes, only to read the news and wish friends a happy birthday.

How do we change things?

Well it's not helping, but no. I think it's much deeper than that. It's the rise of technology overall. We are engineering human interaction completely out. Technology has existed for quite a while but now automation has gottento the point that people only have ti have a handful of interactions daily if any at all. I mean look at this (G@G) this isn't real human interaction. IRL you have to learn to navigate humans and all their unique eccentricities. But on here you can exchange a few wirds and then just block somebody or remove their content entirely if their words displeases you. As a result the younger generations are becoming hypersensisitive, but only to their feelings. And when you plug that into online dating it's an absolute disaster. Women expect men to earn their approval even though they've done nothing to deserve such a thing. Men think women should be like mcdonalds drive through. Look at the menu, order what they want, and drive around. And when it invariably in no way occurs the way both the two genders want. They excoriate the onther gender for it. Because as i said the younger genderations simply do not know how to interact with eachother.

I do have close friends and family that I've known for decades and... social media apps are one more way to keep in touch way more easily

Social media fucked the internet completel, along with human interaction. For a little while i had facebook but got rid of it.
