He told me he feels "honored" to know a girl like me. What does that mean?

So I was having a convo with a guy I like. We have known each other for over a bit over a month at the time. We usually joke around and laugh all the time, but this convo was a bit more on a serious note, I was tellin him about some hardships I had in life (won't go into details here, but let's just say the past 2 years have not been kind to me). His reply was something like "You know, I am always so impressed when I meet people like you, it makes me realize I have really nothing to complain about in my life. You are such a good girl, I feel honored to have met someone like you." While this is a sweet comment, and I did thank him nicely, it made me think. Is this a very friend-like gentleman comment? Or could it mean he likes me? Because I just never had a guy friend, even best friends, say something like this to me. And I just feel like you would not say something like this to someone you only know for a month if you were not trying to get on their good side... or would you? What do you guys think? Also in same convo we were talking about finances and how I had to do everything for my parents since I was 14, and how I always had to take care of bills, documents, etc. and he said something like "Wow, that's exactly what I need, I need a good woman who will take care of the finances for me, I don't care if I have to make all the money, just need her to manage the budget" and he said it jokingly, but still he said it right after I talked about me always being good with finances. Thoughts?
