He's still texting, but no third date planned?

First date lasted 12 hours, second lasted 24, and he said he wanted to see me again. He texts me every day for a quick conversation, but it's been 5 days and he hasn't made plans for the third date (even though he tells me how much he loves spending time with me and how good we click together). He sends me snap chats and texts, but no phone calls.

We have known each other for 2 weeks but have only gone on two dates, and he has a ton of free time, so I don't know what's going on.

I think I will call him tomorrow if he doesn't say anything interesting tonight, but I just want to know what goes through a guys head when he starts dating a girl. Is he waiting for me to set a date? If he likes me as much as he says he does, why doesn't he want to see me more often if he has nothing else going on but hanging out with his friends?
