OMG why latinas are color struck and Very racist?

Question

I find it funny that black men and latino men in NYC don't discriminate against women of any kind. When it comes Latinas there are quick to judge men based on color of their skin, Why is that? I met an  African  employee at CVS and told me his share of racism from hispanic women and never had an opportunity to date one. I'm asking WHY MOST OF YOU LATINAS THINK IS ALRIGHT TO TREAT US THIS WAY? I would love to date a hispanic woman but how can I do so if most you are being racist towards us especially if black men approached you in a well manner like everyone else? Please give a me feedback...

i've asked myself this question all the time. i stay away from chicks within my race because of this. though its kinda funny since in the racism in latin america is nowhere near as hardcore as in the usa. but to me i think its just another product of the narcissism that runs through hispanic women.

hispanic women are from my point of view the most self centered women in the world, so to me they make skin color such a huge factor because (and i have noticed this from my own experiences) they think that if there being seen with a black man people around her are going to assume that she is a hoodrat or just another push over hoe. they probably won't date a white men because from their point of view white men are boring and lame. and of course there not going to go after Asians because of that stigma they have of supposedly all being short, too feminine and having small penises.

once again everything i said was from my experiences since im latino myself and i was race in a heavily hispanic community. im not say they are true.

You know, I'm sick and tired of Black guys claiming that Latinas are racist when the Latinas don't want to date them. And to be totally honest, it's often dark skin Black guys that make such claims.

Yet, hypocritically, if given the option, these same guys will ignore and reject most dark skin women, or most notably, Black women, to date a fair skin Latin woman. Wait, come to think of it, I cannot recall seeing a Black guy pursue a dark skin or Black Latina. The truth.

Then, like you, they complain when fair skin Latin women prefer and want to date fair skin guys. Go figure, right! It leads me to question their motives.

Is it fair to say that these type of guys are racist or color struck?

Mexican here. I'm not racist at all and I've dated a few boys from different races.

To be honest, I think you're doing a bit of the same by generalizing like that. Some people treat people differently based on multiple factors, some don't. We can't just say "all the latinas are racist" because that's impossible. Maybe you haven't have luck yet, or maybe the way you came across to them wasn't entirely appealing or something.

If anything, I'll tell you this: Women here absolutely LOVE American white men. They rain down any white Americans that come over here. I'm not even joking, our native guys here don't have a chance if there's an American at a party. If you're dead set in meeting a Latina, I can almost guarantee you'll find someone here provided you know your way around girls.

Like bubbletrouble said " it's not racist to not date outside your race". Many Hispanic women, especially those that are darker-skinned are very open to dating and marrying black men. I know many Cuban and Puerto Rican women from New York who have dated and/or married black men.

I think it also has to deal with how closely they relate to their own culture. If they are very family-oriented and their family still holds many Hispanic values, then any other culture, not just black, is foreign to them and they would like to date/ marry someone who will fit in with their family and culture. Black people have a very strong culture and identify very closely with it. Just saying it might be a reason why.

I'm Latin but seriously... What you said is simply not true, and it's hypocrite. Are you saying that ALL Latin girls don't like black guys? Did you research this? Did you ask this to a considerable number of Latin girls and they said no, I don't like black guys, for you to come to this conclusion?
And YOU are the one racist here. You are criticizing Latin woman for picking certain races, and YOU are doing it. Why do you want to date a Latin? Why not a black, Asian or European?
And no one nowadays is 100% one race, just saying.

Many latin people are black or mulato.
I don't really know what goes on in nyc.
But I am part lebanese (middle eastern) and part dominican from caucasion and not African or indian descent. From what I have seen in many latin American countries there is a sort of discrimination. The whiter you are the higher standard of living and power you have. There are exceptions naturally.

Part of Latina culture is trying to be as white as possible.

It shouldn't be too shocking, Latinas are in fact the product of colonization between "Indians" Natives and the Spanish.

The Spanish won, and they set the standards.

It's like that in India too because of the British but it is even more pronounced among Latinas because unlike in India, most Latinas are actually a mix of both ethnicities, but buy varying amounts.
