I'm interested in this guy buy his taking so long to reply, organise something with me. But then we get along well.

Is he just not into me, we met on an app.

Saw this in a [pretty stupid] conversation between two male friends. They're in their 30s but act like they're in their 20s. One was about to text the girl he has been seeing, ask her out again. His friend stopped him to give him advice on what to say, not say. It inspired this question.

The scenario is between a guy and a girl (but you can do same sex couple if you want. But this is about gender roles and preferences.) They are not strangers. They know each other, but not that well. They have just started casually dating. They both like each other.

But... the guy is reluctant [will not] commit. He's anticipating her wanting this. He's trying to play it cool. But he wants to keep dating her, having sex with her, have her in his life. "She's cool, and she's chill, and she's level-headed. But I don't want to fast-track anything." So his friend says to him, "Just tell her, 'Look, maybe I'll get there one day, but I don't want to hold you back from living your life.'" Typical commitmentphobe player b. s. But anyway, thought I'd make a question out of it.

What I'm getting at here is if there's a majority preference toward: politeness, or assertiveness, or something else. And do guys and girls have a different, or the same, idea about this. And, girls, does the assertiveness turn you on/do you like it, or does it turn you off?

It'd be for some snacks/appetizers as well, not just drinks, but for simplicity sake I didn't write that in each multiple choice because it would be too many words. This isn't a formal or fancy dinner date, but there will be food, so don't focus on that. And for those who don't drink alcohol, you can sub in any other beverage. It's not important. But it is a date, and there is sexual tension between them.

Feel free to be honest. This is just for research.

I feel invisible like i have nothing to offer. I have a decent enough and in shape fit body and guys seem attracted at times so i figure thats SOMETHING. But i dont have an interesting personally or anything. Im a total follower. Im very dumb tbh like i dont have much to say on my own. :s

I want to be of value and I try to do my job good but other than that i dont know what to think of myself. I can't blame others for the fact i have NO friends or family. The most i have is coworkers im friendly with at work.

Not a diet freak necessarily, or a vegan for the matter but they just abstain for oily and greasy food.

I haven’t really dated anyone, I was exclusive with someone for a few months back when I was 23 and had sex but I wasn’t completely into him. I just haven’t been lucky with dating apps at all, you hear they’re terrible but some get lucky from them. I don’t have a social life or in person friends so that’s my only avenue, I really don’t think I’m bad looking I’ve been told I’m cute/attractive but I don’t get attention from guys. I get matches and msgs on the apps but it’s always the ones I want don’t want me back or the ones that want me I don’t want back. Or sometimes it just doesn’t work out, I’m exhausted and have just lost interest and motivation. I check the apps but am at the point where I have to remind myself to reply to guys because I just can’t be bothered. I’ve tried almost all the free apps and tried match too. I’m the same weight I was when I was 23 but I’m a little thicker because I guess I lost some muscle mass but worry I’m going to get saggier as time goes by and when I’m even older, I’ll look at young photos of myself and just feel regret for not living it up at that point in my life. I don’t want kids and don’t have much of a sex drive, maybe that might have something to do with it?

It's about court, I had a trial date, but it was very far (it was next year) and I DESPERATELY needed to have it this summer before August 18th. I was seriously contemplating a suicide if the date wasn't going to move. But if you know anything about court, you know that they don't move dates unless you have a really good excuse like an open heart surgery that day... it's also hard to change the date due to the back log we have where I live.. the waiting for a full day trial is minimum of a year waiting. I had no excuse other than my personal beliefs.. my lawyer accepted to try to move the date (thinking that she was gonna ask for a shorter trial instead of a full day trial, (waiting is less long for a shorter trial) but what she and i didn't know is that there were notes on my file, saying not to change the date AND NO to shortening the trial, which meant that it wouldn't work) but guess what? The day we came to request a shorter trial, The crown "lost" my file, which meant that he couldn't read the notes in my file, which somehow leaded to the judge deciding to cancel the old date and set a new date in summer like I wanted... My wish came true, only because he didn't have the file at that perfect moment. miracle. I prayed a lot... a lot for that to happen... I can't stress enough how important this was, it changed my whole life.
Know that the court never ever "lose" files.. it is so unusual, and it was a such a perfect moment, it makes me wonder if a gardien angel helped me out..
and by the way, I do want to go to this trial, so yes he found the file back, which is good.

I keep seeing people who put their nose in someone's business when it comes to dating older women even it is just a 2-5 years old age gap but the same people have no problem when a 18 years old teenager date a creepy grandpa. Whatever what is your age preference?

I personally dont care whom someone date as long as they are over 22-24 when they their brain development is finished.

Hi, so I've posted about this but now have an update. I have been seeing this guy for 1-2 months, gone on dates. But recently my cousin found him on tinder. I asked him about it and he said it was an old account. My cousin said his location changed from 13km to 3km away from her. We also made a fake account and he matched with her within a day.

Is he keeping his options open because his looking for better?

Help I don't know what to do... I like him.
