Guy im seeing was caught on tinder, update, what do I do, why is he?

Hi, so I've posted about this but now have an update. I have been seeing this guy for 1-2 months, gone on dates. But recently my cousin found him on tinder. I asked him about it and he said it was an old account. My cousin said his location changed from 13km to 3km away from her. We also made a fake account and he matched with her within a day.

Is he keeping his options open because his looking for better?

Help I don't know what to do... I like him.

How are things going otherwise (without Tinder)? Maybe he's unsure where you're headed, so keeping options open just for that reason, but doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't like you. Have you been talking lots as well as the dates? I'm guessing you know each other well enough that maybe you can have a talk with him about where you guys see this going now. Maybe he just needs to know that you like him enough? You never know as it's always a risk, and some people are great actors/actresses, but trust your gut and how you feel about the relationship. And have a talk with him. Even ask this directly. Say you're starting to like him, but the Tinder account has you questioning how much he likes you.

I know myself (under slightly different circumstances), but with ghosting being so common these days, and nobody sticking around it seems (I even got to know someone for 8 mths, to have them ghost me one day, never to be heard from again lol), that when I'm dating, I'll still keep my profile up, even though nobody matches or contacts me anyway so it doesn't matter LOL, but I leave it until I'm sure it's heading somewhere, or seems like it's going to.

If you aren't dating exclusively then there is nothing wrong with it. How ever if you are unhappy with it, say something and if he's not onboard then go your own way

sadly many modern people on both sides continue to use dating apps/sites or social media while in a relationship. to keep their options open and/or to get validation from others should things not pan out long term.
