A lot of people have goals towards these things in life. The thing they do not realize is that they might not be ready or prepared for it. I want to know what others think it means to be ready. So many times people just want these things and never have the tools to hold a healthy relationship and learn to walk away from a partner in a healthy manner. When others think of marriage and kids they do not understand what comes with the responsibilities as well as the changes that are inevitable. Are you ready? Do you know what to expect? When it comes to dating, I'm really worried that this is the reason why I am so unlucky in love, because I'm not very active person nor interesting enough for the guys.

I feel like after work and duties and all that needs to be done, you don't really have enough free time for hobbies and even if you do, if you are a homebody like me then you're happy just to be in a nice cozy calm place, home.

What I like to do:
- Play videogames from time to time (mostly horror games, RPG when I was younger)
- I like watching movies, especially old good movies and horror flicks
- I love good music, I prefer old music (80s, new-wave and similar).
- I like to spend time with my very few closest friends but it's so much harder now that we are all adulting lol
- I like to shop fashion and little things but I am still considerate while I do so
- Sometimes I like to bake (sometimes because not always it is eatable)
- I like eating out but as I said, I do it only when I can really afford it
- I do like animals a lot, care after them
- I also like cars, no pro but I know a bit about them, I like driving and I can myself traveling somewhere far, treat myself and my closest ones

This is most of the stuff I do after I come home from work and once are all the household duties done.

I'm kind of a nerd but I never really wanted to date a nerd. Is that normal?

Are hobbies/interests like these strange or not good enough?

I'm self conscious about my skin color. I am pretty pale, and I don't tan that easily. What makes it worse is that I have dark brown hair, I'm the literal complete opposite of the beauty standard here in Sweden. No guys are interested in me, and I think it's mostly because of my hair color and skin tone.

I look like a nerd they present in movies. Pale skin, dark brown hair, brown eyes, glasses and a few pimples. (They aren't really visible though)

Guys in Sweden are very picky, and their type is tan skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. I've noticed that Asian people think I look good, but it's because where they are from pale skin is the beauty standard.

There's so many blue eyed, tanned skin, blonde hair girls here. I see them everywhere I look, it's impossible for me to compete with them. They get all the guys.

So, is pale skin unattractive to you?@

There's a troll on this site who was saying a woman was racist for dating a black man. But it got me thinking as, a white woman, being interested in someone who is n. east indian how many people would think I am racist for dating him.

I know everyone has their own preferences, etc. I am asking in general.

So, I post nudes on Reddit, taking good care that I stay as anonymous as possible, and trough that I've gotten in contact with some great people.

I've been talking to this one guy specifically on a daily basis and we really hit it off. He'll be on holiday in my country with some friends soon and wants to meet up irl.

I really, really like him, but I can't get over the fact that we got in touch trough my nudes. He says he thinks I'm beautiful without having seen my face and I just don't know how to feel about this all. We see eye to eye on many things and have similar interests as well.

Should I get over myself and meet up?

I’ve had it up to here of guys preaching and letting the world know that women are evil and after money when looking for a relationship. Yes, I believe women earn money in marriage from their husbands. Just the way husbands earn money from their wives. But guys do not explain this concept throughly and all men in the universe hate women or judge them before getting to know her.

So girls, have you ever discussed money to a guy on a date or on a dating profile?

I’m a Batman fan… so the obvious choice is Bruce Wayne… because he’s so mysterious and sad…

So three weeks after our first date this guy reached out for another 2 days ago which I rejected.

Truth is neither of us texted or called after the first date. I ran into him this morning and he said he didn’t reach out because he could tell I wasn’t that into him (which was true), but he still likes me and wants to try again.

People who tend to spend a huge chunk of their time hating on others tend to have miserable lives.

I created a dating profile 3 weeks ago to get some confidence since I was going through an insecure time, wasn’t really looking for anyone. Some men messaged me, but one guy stood out. He gave off this “I come as is” vibe which struck a cord with me for some reason so I exchanged socials with him to remain contact and deleted the app. Time continues and we’re talking every day, and things are going great.

He disclosed that he had to join the army right out of high school since he had gotten his then-girlfriend pregnant and now has a baby girl. He just started working a full time job and plans to go to a community college to earn his degree whereas I’m in graduate school with no kids. I understood him and we continued to grow from there. Then, the other night, I told him to visit me (we live 2 hours away from each other, and I requested that we meet in the middle so drive isn’t too bad).

He disclosed he didn’t have a paycheck from his job yet but would only need about $40 for gas. I paid for his gas, food, and toy for his dog while we hanged out the following day. He then asked me what particular app we met on since he had over 5 that has been used for over a month. He stated that girls would talk for a couple of days then leave, but I never left so he deleted them all (or he claims). He had a very neutral decision on sex like “if you want it, sure. If not, it’s fine.” But we ended up having sex anyway because I was very smitten with him at that time.

I asked if we were together as boyfriend/girlfriend since the first date went great and he said he likes me but not ready for that yet since he wants to know me more (even though I told him I’m an open-book) and wants to go on more dates. I agreed since I didn’t really have a choice and now after a day has passed, he isn’t really talking to me much and doesn’t seem interested anymore like leaving me on read. I’m not sure what to do because I spent over $100 on the date and was hoping he’d help pay some of that back.

I said most not all, look at the divorce rate. I can’t help but feel like if I decided to date someone, there’s a good chance that I will end up being cheated on. You can say vice versa but I really don’t think I’m that type, I’m more likely to just break it off if things aren’t going well. From all the stories you hear from people you know or even if you want to count the media, seems like cheating is bound to happen especially with the way it is today with the apps and social media.
