Questions: Dating

I just posted a lengthy response to a question about guys ghosting when they ask a friend for a date and get rejected. You are probably familiar with that tired line, "but I don't want to take a chance on ruining our friendship." That resulted in the ghosting that motivated the Asker to post the question.

1. After you reject him, that friendship probably is ruined anyway, because not many guys will want to hang around and watch you dating other guys after they got rejected. So that old line doesn't have much meaning.

2. HOW MANY TIMES have you heard a girl say, "I want my romantic partner to be my best friend." Well, if that's what you REALLY want, why wouldn't you date a friend? You're already halfway to your goal.

So. . . would you date a friend if he or she expressed interest? If you felt some attraction?

I catch feelings quick. I can't help it.

We met a couple of weeks ago and neither of us has ever had such good dates and such chemistry (her words, not mine). On our forth date we slept together a couple of times and the sex was perfect. After 3 days, I sent her a text that I was thinking about her all the time and wanted to meet her again. Which is when whe texted me that I was moving too fast into this and we are not on the same page and she'd rather end it before any of us gets hurt, even though she thinks I'm a "great guy" and she had so much fun on our dates.

Today, we'll be going out for coffee to talk about it and I can explain to her that it is just a misunderstanding and she can not hurt me.

It is important that you know, I'm 26 years old, have a couple of friends and a lot of hobbies. I've got a big flat and I do all right with girls. I'm busy and not at all desperate. I just want the connection we had.

Do you think she'd agree to continue going out with me?

My girlfriend went on a girls trip to Vegas. I was very uncomfortable but I'm not a controlling boyfriend. So I told her "do whatever makes you happy" and she went. When she came home she told me about how she made friends with the bar tender Jose who was such a nice guy. She told me about how Jose gave her free drinks and low key brought her weed. She even added him to snapchat. I'm very uncomfortable with this situation but I haven't said anything. If I say something that will alert her she'll cover up her tracks, so I'm keeping cool. She says she didn't find Jose attractive. I don't know if I believe her but she's been talking about him lots. She was also on her period during the trip. Aren't women more likely to cheat on their period? What's even more disturbing is her friend Amber she went with kind of cheated on her man. Amber gave her number to a guy and told him she's single. Last year my girlfriend went on a trip to Miami and I didn't feel uncomfortable. Now this trip so much is going through my head. Maybe it's due to the fact that she's been fridid all year. I don't know what to think right now

This girl, that I used to work with, and i started talking February. And we used to talk almost everyday. It almost seemed like neither wanted the convo to end.

We didn't hang earlier in the year until one day she visited me at work one day. She had lost her job and i didn't want to put too much on her plate.

We did hangout twice after that as well. The first time the vibes were amazing and it felt good but tbh i felt like i wqs exhausted after that day.

The second time didn't go as well as the first. It did feel different but i wouldn't say it went bad.

She said she had a good time and when i asked that we should do it again, she basically said yea but it might have to be until after August.

I told her to message me whenever she's down. I haven't heard back from her since.

she's working in her field and im trying to get my life together. If im being honest im not happy where i am at life and my confidence is lacking. And im pretty sure she's aware of that.

Nevertheless, i really fancy this girl she's amazing and And i fucking suck at dating.

Part of me thinks i should not message her because i dont want to come off as pushy
