I've heard nightmare stories of people dating doctors, police officers, politicians, lawyers, etc. When their relationship is on the rocks, or they divorce or break up, that person puts them through absolute hell that they can't even compete with because the person has so much power.

For example, there was a police officer who was only caught because her son had a sleep over and the child sleeping over witness her brutally beating her husband. What were the odds anyone would have believed him if it hadn't been a stranger's child who witnessed the incident? Or, the incident where the girl was shot in the head by her husband who's a police officer. And, the police didn't even properly investigate the incident. There's the family of lawyers down south who were murdering people.

Doctors and lawyers can sue their partner into the ground. Politicians and lawyers know legal loopholes and have connections. Doctors can hit you medically.

The ways powerful partners can hurt you are pretty brutal.

The last time I “dated” someone I was 23, we were in a STR for about 3 months & it ended because to me it felt like settling. Since then, I’ve met up with men from dating apps on and off throughout the years. Maybe 1-3 were kind of sketchy, that was in my early twenties too but since then all the other ones were decent but I just didn’t feel them. And I think it was mutual, sometimes I’d hear back, sometimes I wouldn’t but it was known the feeling was reciprocated. I’m old let’s admit it, I’ve never been in love but intimacy scares me & I don’t really have much of a sex drive at all. Sometimes I have to ask myself if I like men because even though I know I do, I do not like any of these guys in the end. When we communicate on the app it seems fine but when I meet them in person I’m just so bleh towards them. They don’t catfish me, they just don’t live up to my expectations & I’ve learnt to not have any at this point in my life. I don’t like women sexually or romantically, I didn’t meet up with anyone in 2022 & today was the first time I met up with someone from
Hinge. Clearly was meh, should I just toss in the towel? Is it simply a case of just not meeting the ONE? Let me know if you have any follow up questions

Normally this wouldn’t be an issue for me to address. My experience is anytime I start to tell or answer his questions about my past, I don’t move from the truth and time and time again he attacks me for it later. He’s convinced because I used to go out on Saturday nights when I was single that I was just having a bunch of one night stands. I’ve actually never even had a one night stand and he won’t let go of the thought that is how I was. I even asked him if I told him my number would he believe me? He told me no. I’ve asked why this is so important when he doesn’t believe and makes me upset what the point is…. And he never has a decent answer. After 4 years this has only become an issue that he brought to my attention over the last year. Thoughts?

My boyfriend and I decided to rent a place to stay and split that. We also wanted to spend the night cooking together so I went to get the groceries. I don't work many hours as I am still in school so I want to ask to split it but I don't want to end up looking stingy. I spent around $55 on groceries. Is it too stingy or should I just ask him to split?

If no, then is there such a thing as top tier men.

For my eyes, less than 0,1% of women are attractive let alone very attractive. But I think about 5% of men are attractive.

Maybe it's because I'm 100% straight.
