On the radio, on the way to work, i listened to this station about how to folks had a first date and didn't continue it and the radio hosts find out why. It's a bit dramatic for my tastes so I skip it but this time... it got my attention.

So man goes on date with girl. Talks to girl but girl says nada... for the whole evening. When they part ways, she gives him kiss on the cheek and dips. He gets into his car and notices his phone has a text from... the girl he just had dinner with. "Sorry, couldn't make it." Man is highly confused to what the fff-

The girl sent in her "identical" friend to date this man, and she was fine with it. Because they're identical and it's fiiiiiiine. Radio hosts silent, man bewildered, lady is unfazed. I'm... you gotta be shittin' me. Sooo... in this case... y'all gonna make up and go for round 2?

(i just realized I didn't post this but made this yesterday. Today 11/29 yesterday: 11/28. No wonder i felt like something was missing from my notifications.

I met him in high school. I had a crush and we were friends but he didn’t seem interested. Then suddenly, randomly one day he did, I don't know what happened. He invited me to his prom, he was super chivalrous. We went on a few dates (this started towards the end of us being in high school and carried on into the first year of being in college) he treated me well but I didn’t feel a spark. He paid for our food or whatever we did, and I enjoyed his company but didn’t see it going anywhere. I didn’t wanna hurt his feelings but I couldn’t keep seeing him, especially with him paying I wouldn’t wanna take advantage of him. Anyways I got to the point I just made excuses when he asked to do something cause I was afraid to hurt his feelings even though I probably did regardless. Eventually he stopped messaging me and we haven’t talked since. I’m s few years wiser now. I can look back and see he treated me MUCH better than the guys I’ve been with since. I knew at the time he was such a good guy and I was so mad at myself for not being in love with him, I should be. Any girl would be lucky to be with him. Anyways, I wanna reach out and at least apologize and maybe give it a another chance, if he would even give me the time of day. I’m nervous too though, and I’m nervous to give it another shot and still just not feel any thing and potentially hurt him again, although this time around I would give him an explanation instead of just ghosting. Should I give it a shot or leave it alien?

So I haven’t been official with my boyfriend for very long but he’s number one Snapchat best friends with the girl he was with before me.

To preface, I was told he liked me about 6 months ago but he never did anything about it. We were on and off number one snapchat best friends for months but he kept losing the heart and I got off the app because of it.

We were also texting for months and finally he asked me out. Come to find out he asked me out a week after the girl went back to school and was planning to hang out with her that weekend!

A few weeks go by and she asks him to make it official but he said no. We were consistently dating at this point. However, even after we were official she was his number one best friend.

I got really upset and he blocked her with no hesitation, but I still feel like he’s only using me as a placeholder. He keeps saying that’s obviously not true because he chose to be official with me and not her, but I don’t like how he had to wait to ask me out until she left. And I don’t like how they kept talking until it turned into a fight.

I don’t have any reason not to trust him as of now other than that, but my self esteem is still sort of in shambles.

What do you all think?

People describe 30 as being ‘old’ I know it’s not old old but you know what I mean. Would this apply to 27?

You know how lazy you have to be to date a man you GENUINELY find unattractive for money? 🤣 not to mention there’s a reason these weirdos have to pay for sex. Cause plenty don’t have to, old women don’t have to at all.

He kept texting with a female coworker for hours... I complained, he said he is not hiding anything. Then again and again did the same thing.

I continued to ask him if there is something I need to know. He continued to deny anything.

Then I realized that he is making me a fool and decided to leave a recorder in our office (we work together and there are cameras anyway).

Then I caught he talking trash about me to one of his friends. And then called him for an explanation.

He started yelling and calling me names, because he was secretly recorded. But didn't apologize for his behavior towards me.

Was I wrong?
