I’m sure many people go after peopke when they are uncertain bc with all the advice on acting like you DO like someone when you don’t and acting like you DON’T like someone when you do, how can anyone really know for sure. Usually takes time 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I’m wondering how common it is for people to go after someone once they have been explicitly told NO. I’m not interested in a relationship.

I know I have said this many times and it was always taken as a game or worse, that I just don’t understand my own feelings 🙄 each time I said it I went it. There were times when I was uneasy but recognized i may want to try and I’m gonna have to go real slow, and this was very different from “ no absolutely not” and sone tones it was bc I didn’t want a relationship and wasn’t into the person.

Sometimes I very much liked the person but did not want a relationship. It’s really awkward to tell someone you don’t want a relationship when they don’t ask directly but Persue you anyhow and each time I had to wait until they said something or Reyes something out if respect bc I didn’t want to assume, so I really encourage people to be DIRECT. It saves everyone time & dignity.

I never became interested in a relationship based on the person changing my mind. It was based on when I had decided I don’t disapprove of being emotionally intimate with someone and for me that’s rare.

Anyhow, I’m my case people obit ever benefited being upfront. Inversely I’ve never had luck being upfront. It’s taken as a game or they play games, oh well. In my perfect universe everyone is direct and they get their kicks from fun stuff not d*cking people around. One can dream 🤷🏻‍♀️

Because I don’t care what you say playing snooker/billiard/pool is a cue sport classification. It takes many years to get good at. It’s just a non contact sport. Or is this not competitive enough for you?

I (24) have known my ex (29) for 2 years now we dated for 8 months and moved in together we ended our relationship 3 months ago because we argued too much. when we broke up he started seeing his ex again recently he asked me to work on our relationship again i told him i would have to think about it 2 weeks later we sat down and had a conversation about what we both should expect in the future so i could tell him if i wanted to continue the relationship or not eventually it turned into a argument so i blurted out and said we should just be friends. the next day we had another conversation and he told me he's not where he wants to be in life and just wants to be friends i told him i felt like he tried to start an argument because he knew i was going to make my mind up that day.

i have been having a hard time meeting new people i thought i was over my feelings for him so last week i asked him to be my friends with benefits for a little while and now i have feelings for him again we have been getting along very well lately should i tell him how i feel and ask him to continue our relationship or should i just let it go and end the friends with benefits since he told me a few weeks ago he doesn't want a relationship anymore?

I'm just curious why you think this happens. Please feel free to comment your thoughts as well.

Your date and you have been going well and everything seems fine. You even invite them in your home for a few drinks and skip the bar. Everything is all good but then they say they gotta go. They let themselves out and you thought it went well but notice they left their keys. Of course, you wanna give it back to them but notice you drove them. So when you step out, they're gone. Coincidence they're forgetful or something is wrong?

I am planning to message him, but I am not sure exactly what to say. We're just acquaintances, but he's a very close friend to my best friend. We've known each other since we were like 12, but we didn't really have a friendly conversation, only casual talks. He was a schoolmate, a batch mate, actually. During high school, he had a girlfriend. I never really heard of him since he left our city for college. It's only when he graduated and returned to our city when I heard he is single. So, I was thinking of giving a shot but I am really shy.
