In older Addams Family content (the original TV show and the movies with Raul Julia as Gomez), I'd say it's pretty healthy and very hard to argue otherwise.

In newer versions, in keeping with the trends of "for modern audiences" bullsh*t, much less so, but this is also being secreted from the same types of lunatics who consider Joker and Harley Quinn wholesome...

Okay, now I've only seen the show and the Raul Julia movies, so there may be something I'm missing here, but how could that relationship be in any way "toxic"? Two people who are openly, madly in love with one another, encouraging passions and interests.

The only thing "toxic" about them is the literal toxins.
