1. Booze, Weed and stuff
Ever noticed those half asleep weird asses sitting at the back?
The chances are, they have been 'enjoying' life.
Its not uncommon for students to engage in alcohol, weed, even drugs and finding themselves hopelessly addicted.
While partying isn't bad, there are some very reasonable limits.
You might think its cool, but trust me, all this shit will turn you into a fuckin zombie.
Even if a homie hands you a joint, say "NO!".
Often fresher's parties will include the stuff.
2. Hazing/Raging/Bastardisation
The above words refer to the practice of rituals, challenges, and other activities involving harassment, abuse or humiliation used as a way of initiating a person into a group including a new fraternity, team, or club.
Moderate is some and extreme is some,
these 'rituals' can cause severe injuries deep phycological trauma.
If a college allows hazing, be prepared.
The ones giving the 'good guy' or the 'loser' aura will face hell.
The best you can do is to familiarise yourself with your seniors and join a sports team. Not like you'll be treated like a VIP, but at least you'll have someone behind your back if things get rough.
3. Student vs Professor
Some will be really good guys while others will be plain ego filled morons.
Often you'll hate your some of your professor and your professors will hate you.
They will want you to do things according to them, you- young rebel - will see them as Assholes.
What really matters, is how good they teach.
4. You'll hardly ever clean the room
With all the books, the half eaten sandwich, coffee cans and rotting food combined with a tight schedule and a lazy punk digging the laptop, this is how it looks.
5. And 'those' things....
This is the time when young adults have hormones Raging like crazy.
You'll won't remember what how drunk you were and what you did last night.
Off course, not everyone will get lucky, but who knows.
6. Sleep deprivation
By the time your term end exam time table is put up, there will be a lot to study and little time.
I'm a second year student and I already experience this. Third years have it even worse.
7. Placement?
Companies, interviews, jobs etc.
But not as sweet as it sounds.
