Like every other job, there is a hierarchy, and people at the top make more, and people at the bottom make less.
If you are working at a small club in a small town, especially in a blue-collar town, you aren't going to make all that much - but you probably won't work that many hours either. The big money is going to be found in bigger cities that get a lot of tourism and convention traffic: NYC, SF, LA, Vegas, Orlando, Atlanta, New Orleans, etc.
But even then, there is a hierarchy. The girls who get scheduled for the big-money nights (Friday and Saturday) have to be young, have very good-to-great bodies, outgoing personalities, and know how to perform well. Girls who lack one or more of those qualities will get weekday nights or even day shifts only, or won't be able to get hired in the higher-end clubs at all. And the nicer clubs generally generate the most money.
Strip clubs aren't really my thing, but I've still been to a lot of clubs with friends or business associates who enjoy them, and I've also known/been friends with some strippers. I've been to some clubs that were marginal-to-lousy, and where the low light levels were the only thing that made them tolerable. I've also been to clubs in LA, Vegas, Dallas, and New Orleans, and even on weekday nights, the women were incredible and I'd be shocked if most of them didn't take in at least $500 per 4 hour shift - AFTER paying stage fees. Obviously these clubs were well-run, and competition for stage-time was fierce, with only the best performers getting a slot, but some of those girls were literally making several thousand a night. I'd bet they only worked 3-4 days a week, though.

i searched average income for an exotic dancer/stripper
3 different sites all said they average $46k
keep in mind there are no health, dental, or other benefits though
It all depends on where you work. Location plays a major role, too. For example, as stripper working in someplace like Washington, D. C. would probably make way more than a stripper working in a crappy, poor city like Detroit. It's not steady money either. Just because you're doing well one night doesn't mean that you will the next. When I worked as a stripper I had nights where I walked out with 300+ in tips while other nights I'd come out with a measly 20 bucks. If you're willing to prostitute you can make a lot of money but for those of us who didn't, it was increasingly tough to compete with the sleazy strippers who did. I was a stripper full-time for a year and only made about $15,000 that year. It wasn't worth it so I quit. Being a stripper isn't easy money. It's hard work and the competition is strong.
It depends on a LOT of factors. Hot hot you are, how many customers show up that night, how well customers tip (a lot of guys just watch and don't pay for private dances), how many times a week they dance etc. As with any freelance work, especially sex work, money doesn't come regularly and some months are great and you make 2k a night, other months it's so slow you can't pay your rent.
It's just a myth that strippers make that much. I'm sure some strippers do, but they work for a really nice strip club (which is probably competitive). It also depends on how attractive and good you are what you do. Stripping is an exhausting job, and it seems like a lot of people are glamorizing it to be more than it is.
70k$ a year means extra 20k$ than regular job but hot dog vendor & chocolatier make more money than stripper haha

The most important thing is the location they're stripping.
I've been friends with a few dancers, and I've learned a lot about their profession, from them.
The girls that I know generally work in local clubs, and make anywhere from $200-$500 a week. If they're falling behind on their bills, though, they'll head to some of the more upscale locations, in the city.
At those kind of places, a motivated girl can pull in $1,000-$2,000 a week, but it's a lot more exhausting, for them. I don't mean, like, giving "extras" in the private rooms, though. Just by following the rules, they'll spend eight hours, or more, constantly giving dances, which is why it's such hard work, for them. You can make a lot only if you can work the pole like a pro

An "average" stripper isn't very attractive or good and probably won't make half of that.Payscale. com says that the average income is $46,259 per year however this includes both male and female. Girls I think would make anywhere between 80-200k like this one college goer:
www.huffingtonpost.com/.../...ipper_n_5474016.htmlaverage stripper? probably standard like you said, around $25k
but the top of the line strippers? those are probably where they're callin the shots around $10k/monthlyGood question. As a male I've personally thrown away $2,500 on strippers in one evening; so them broads have to be making some money
i think it depends on Where they strip at and the clientele. I know a few strippers and they are always broke... some even have to do "private" dances off-site to earn a little more.
It depends on your location and how popular you are as a stripper. A stripper in Atlanta, ga makes more than a stripper in Sacramento, ca.
Strip clubs I used to go to was pretty cheap so like 10k/year
The ones providing extra services would me making quite a healthy load of money. No bullshit, there. What you probably didn't think about is that Not Every stripper makes a stupid amount of money.
I can make more than that playing binary options in a few months :P
I don't know for certain, but I've heard from multiple sources that strippers in London would complain that a $10k month is a very bad month.
Depends where the strip clubs are at. The higher end ones that the rich people go to. You can find strippers making tons of money.
Depends on if it's a slow night no one there or if it's a lot of people. Strippers don't make that much Until after 4 years if they are lucky.
Maybe there's a difference between what they make cash in hand and what they declare for taxation?
depends on how hot you are lol
they make about 75k/year
