Are cartilage piercings considered unprofessional?

I've had some "professional" jobs when i took a break from college (this was for two years) i had six peircings in each ear, three of them were cartiledge. i usually kept studs or small hoops. i also had a septum ring. none of those jobs ever told me to take the peircings out. the only time I've been told to take peircings out was when i was working at a frozen yogurt shop lmao
Depends on your field. I work in computing, so the ear cage I sported for three years was fine.
Unfortunately, people who work in schools are expected to dress somewhat conservatively. You could probably get away with just a little stud but I wouldn't take it beyond that.
Nope, I really do not care what kind of piercings, tattoos (except for the racist ones), and what you wear until you reach a limit. If I were the boss, I would only care if my employees are happy being at work, doing their work, getting along with everyone at work, etc
