Can my school see my browsing history on my school account?

I'm scared the admin of my school account will see what I have been browsing.
This is what it said on my schools website: "This includes the filtering and monitoring of all internet access and email through the school's network"
Does this mean they can see my browsing history when i'm on my school account at home? (not connected to the schools network).
Please help.

There are ways around this like simply not being logged into your school account while at home, thus browsing what you want without your school knowing however in school it gets more difficult as then they have a legal ability (and have the hardware/software) to monitor each computer, however that doesn't mean that unless it is something serious that they pay much attention to. You probably tripped an automated response when the system "paused" your access

No my web activity was paused as in everhthing i browse will not be recorded

Oh it sounds like you opened up an "in private" browsing window, however just because it isn't saved in your browsing history, doesn't mean it's not saved on the school network

I was just logged into my school email google account without taking notice

Then yes it wouldn't be saved anywhere except at your ISP and on your home network, which are both places in accessable by the school

It means they monitor the internet traffic that goes through the computers at your school, so unless your school account is a Google account and it syncs up your browser history every time you log in at school then you should play be fine. by the way why would you use a school account at home? Do you not have a personal one?

I do have a personal one, I just happened to be on my school account, without noticing, when browsing silly things.. And when I checked 'my activity' at school, it said "Web activity is paused" and nothing showed up. I never put it on pause like whatttt im confused.

The thing is your school account is controlled by the school which gives your administrator complete access to everything you've done on your device. I played games during online and I was caught so no matter if you're using your own device your own wifi if you connected to your school account they can still see whatever your doing- so i think they might have been able to see what you did-

Ok so I'm scared half to death rn because my school is searching for cheaters I did search up calculator on the last quiz on my own device at my ow home but the only thing I'm worried about is if my google account for school was open in a window for email not in use if it was could I be caught?

Did you bury it? If you've been in school and they haven't said anything, you're in the clear. This is something they'd deal with ASAP.

Haha that's reassauring. And by the way! The first time I posted, it didn't let me access my browsing history, however, later that day it let me! Must of been a bug or something. So i was able to see my activity but it said "Your web activity is paused", does this mean none of my browsing out of school was recorded? Im so confused lol

Oh and also, the next 2 days I went to school they said nothing, but for some reason, my fucked up brain thought "No it's still not okay, you can still get caught".

Paused means it wasn't recorded, yeah. You'll be ok.

If anything it's good to hear girls watching it tbh lol. Usually it's girls who are moaning as us lads for watching it haha.
