I need help converting decimal converted thousands.. if that makes sense?

I have a book on wattpad, and it has 6.99k.. but it had 6.97k before I added on 11 more reads.. so how do I have 6.99k?

Would 6.99k mean 6,999? Would it mean 6,099? Either way, the calculation the app has done is off and in the case 6.99k means 6,999 it should show as 7k, not 6.9k

Basically, my question is how the hell do you convert K, into a whole number when it’s something like 6.89k.. I hope this makes sense

It's simple. Just remember that K means 1000. Whenever you a number with 'k' written in it's end and you wanna remove the 'k', just multiply it by 1000.

For the change in the number of views, I think it was due to the rounding of and estimation. Don't sweat it too much.

Yeah. But 7k is still pretty good. I wrote a thing and it got like 30 reads
