I own the business, so when I first started the simple answer would be "yes" LOL!
I got better with respecting my personal time, making me more efficient with work time. I keep it a solid 8 hours a day and 5 day work week. I might work beyond that, but I never tell the clients this.
I only work Saturdays if the event we're hired to shoot or film, takes place on Saturday. If employees are working it, I come in and work too.

& I know times are hard, but be sure to not overwork yourself and engage in self care!
Took a long ass bath yesterday and plan on scheduling a massage this week.
Due to being on maternity leave I'm obviously not working, however when I return I shall be back to a 7 hour day, 5 day week.

Right now I get to work at 7:30am and leave at 3pm.
The work load is really low right now so in 7 hours of "work" I'm only really working for about 30 minutes of it. Whats sad is this job is the one which has paid me the most (30/hr) and I am doing the least amount of "work" I have ever done.
The higher up the ladder the easier it gets. :/I work as much as I want to at this point, but choose to work most of the day. If you're generating high W2 income, I'd suggest that you invest into real estate and own some rentals. It would supplement your income in a much more tax-efficient way. It will also free you up so that you're not so overworked. Plus equity and appreciation utilizing leverage would give a much higher return than the stock market. Just a thought.
I love to work it really is there is only one thing that rises above work and that's the love of a good woman they both are the things I can do well and not get tired of I work 10 to12 hours a day 6 days a week so if it love your after it will have to be before 6 am or after 6 pm but if you just gotta have me 12:30 is lunch time and we have an hour so let's not doodle and get to it
On average 8 hours. But that can fluctuate a lot, because a lot of my work is project and research related. Also if I'm bored or having issues getting to sleep or staying asleep, I'm jumping right back into work. So that 8 hour day can quickly jump.
It all depends whether i have clients or not. When i do, i work long hours and straight days in a row until i can find what they are looking for, but when i don't have clients, i work a lot less and spend most of the time prospecting for new clients. The average work hour for me varies month to month but if i average it out, it'll be somewhere between 4-5 hours daily.
Generally 7 or 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (probably 95% of the time). Sometimes I get overtime on the weekends (like the past month) and sometimes my entire overall schedule can be wonky, like when I'm working at a specific location on setups or takedowns for temporary special events.
I work 12 hours every day but luckily on Sundays I only work 8 hours.
Sometimes I get a Tuesday offOfficially 8 hours per day (5 days), but its usually over 50-55 hours per week including working home.
Lately 10-13 hours a day every day of the week, only did like 6 hours today so I've been chillaxing, can't wait for work to slow down
When I am needed...
I only recently got my first job and it is casual work, my neighbour calls for me when they need me and they pay me to do their gardening, so my work time is dependent on when they want their garden managed.I work for a few minutes around my house doing little chores
And getting paid for it
Not bad for a couch potato like meIn the last 6 weeks it's been between 60-70 hours a week.
On average I work ten to twelve hours a day five days a week.
I don't have a job, but I have been looking for a while. I've had a few interviews, but they turned me down. It's been hard since this pandemic started.
