How many hours do you really work per day?

Of actual work, not billable work? In an average workday probably about 2-3 active hours.

The inactive ones still tend to supply some value but less material in nature. I don't thimk anyone actively works 100% of their time at work. Doing so would be outright irresponsible. Of course viewing time spent preparing to perform well as work seems fair.
