Is it good when a recruitment firm approaches you?

A financial recruitment firm got into contact with me when they either saw my CV or LinkedIn page. We had a phone call today and now we're having a Zoom meeting on Tuesday morning. Is that good?

It's better than not getting a call. This call is known as a "pre-screen". It's a preliminary interview to see if you satisfy certain basic criteria that they are interested in that may not be on your résumé or CV. If you satisfy that basic stuff, then they will set up a more serious interview - what used to be called a "plant trip" - where you'd go and visit the place (usually at their expense) and conduct a series of interviews with people to assess if you'd be a "good fit" for them. With COVID-19, a plant trip may just be Zoom calls now for all I know.
