Women can say whatever they want. And they can also demand that men should focus and have control. And that it would be ridiculous for a man later in the future to blame a girl in a short for his failure at education.
I agree with all of that.
But don't any woman tell me that the purpose of a very tight, and revealing short jeans is nothing but attracting attentions. And it's not the only option to cool down during summer.

Yes. School is for education. Uniforms is the best idea. Express yourself outside of school. A major reason our culture is so shallow and getting more stupid by the minute.

This is why I think outfits like that SHOULD be banned.
We face a problem in society where there is toxic masculinity, there is pedophilia, and there is a rape culture, which shouldn't exist, BUT it does.
If we enable our kids to sexualize themselves at a younger age, what are we doing to protect them from these problems? What are we doing to prevent our 16 year old kids from being targeted by older men when we drop them off at the mall?
I'm from Akron Ohio, and Ohio is the capitol of human trafficking in the US. I'm not proud of this in our society but it's real.
Every generation of kids just looks older and older and older. They're enabled to use makeup in middle school, and parents let them dress "grown" (for lack of a better word) for no reason.
Women get offended as is when you approach them talking about "how old are you", so most men don't really ask, they just flirt with older women, because they for sure look older, so if she has a stroller and no baby daddy around, then guys tend to talk or flirt with her. Other men might not so much, if you offer to buy any girl anything so much as a drink or any free shit she says yes.
Okay, now as far as the human trafficking, parents don't pay attention to their kids, hell there was a situation last year where a man went to Kalahari which is a water park resort in Ohio, and in the middle of everybody put a bag over a kids head and attempted to kidnap him. The park officials banned him HOWEVER he was NOT arrested. He was NOT charged. And kids go missing every day, and you can't file a missing persons report until after 24 hours.
If your kid gets snatched and dressed up like that, people won't think much of it in public unless they are good at nonverbal cues.
To prevent this, we should ban everywhere the overaged dressing of our kids. We should ban everywhere the oversexualization culture that is within our kids. When did parents decide it was okay for their 13 14 year old kids to act like Cardi B? We live in a society where beauty has become identified by sexualization and NOT comfortability, and not only is this destructive, but this is morally and completely wrong, and this needs to stop somewhere.
There's teachers out there that want to teach more than math to your son's and daughters, remember that.Everybody should be honest here, there are some different issues here:
- Hypocrisy to differentiate between boys decency and girls decency. It should be possible to show bare arms and shoulders, both on boys and on girls, it should even be fine to see bra straps on girls shoulders and _see_ that they have boobs, that's mother nature. Even some sort of decent cleavage should be deemed normal. Boys should act like sane creatures, and I can imagine that a group of girls could sort of be distracted too about some beautiful shaped six-pacs on boys.
- What _does_ happen is a sort of 'race' between different people, both on the boys side and on the girls side, there _is_ competition, there are people that want to pull the attention towards them, and they do that often with clothing. If you're a C-Cup girl and go in a tight t-shirt without bra to school that shows your abs and under-boob you're not doing if for comfort or temperature control, you're doing it to be more sexy than some other girls that don't do it. Don't sell it as hypocrisy between boys and girls attire.
You're at school, at school you should be decently dressed, that's not the same attire as when you're going to a party. Real life afterwards is the same, go compete with your other gender members when you're hunting, not whilst you're at school or at work. There are all girl schools with strict dress codes so it's not just about the possibility of what a random guy thinks. Dress codes are also about respecting the point of where you are. You wouldn't wear ripped short jeans to somebody's wedding or a job so why should it be acceptable at school? The main point of school is to get an education not to be on parade in class.
Boys & girls should have dress codes that respect the importance of getting an education. REGARDLESS Of whether the boys have self-control or not.I would not ban a specific form of dress though I do advocate making everyone wear the same thing. After the first couple of days it's not even distracting if everyone is naked. But if only one person is wearing those shorts and everyone else is naked than the person wearing the shorts is a distraction. If everyone is wearing those shorts then there is not distraction. A school dress code isn't designed to prevent you from dressing sexy. If it was then school girl uniforms would be banned. A school dress code is designed to ensure everyone is dressed the same way.
Men have always found skinny women sexually desirable because biologically it indicates good health and the ability to reproduce and that's why these types of women are featured so heavily in the media it's because men have already found that attractive. When a woman sees a man dressed in the same way it's creepy and disturbing to her because biologically she isn't looking for the same thing a male is. WOMEN FAIL TO REALIZE THIS BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT MALE SIMPLY PUT. TO THEM IT'S HARMLESS BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SEXUAL, VISUAL CREATURES LIKE MEN! Men are always ready to mate biologically whereas women only once a month. I hope all you women reading this learned from this.
So because guys can't behave themselves, girls have to limit what they can wear?
That being said, I probably would want these in school anyway not because it is a distraction to guys, but iunno maybe I'm just getting old. Im not saying knee length skirts, just.. maybe no ass cheek. They should be banned, but not because of them distracting boys. Boys and girls both are capable of focusing on schoolwork if they are disciplined enough. The reason I believe they should be banned is because school is supposed to teach students how to be productive citizens in society, which includes how to properly dress. School is not a casual session or a club. There is a certain level of respect that should be demanded while at school and allowing people to dress like they are at a club tells them the institution does not command respect. Why do you think most businesses have a dress code for their employees? It is a respect thing.
A quote I was sent by a girl mate this morning:
Reminder as we get in to hotter weather:
She’s not dressed as a slut, you just think like a rapist.Bullshit. Just because you cannot control your desires doesn’t mean that she cannot wear shorts. Wtf. Get better at not looking at her and start concentrating in class
Banned, yes.
Because it distracts guys? No, that's bullshit.
If that's how we're going to think then make all the girls wear burqas.
Everyone should wear appropriate clothing just as adults wear appropriate clothing. Set a standard for professionalism.
It's not the beach, c'mon.Yes, but mainly to protect the students who would want to wear them. The outfit really wouldn't even be that bad if it didn't have the holes in the back. Honestly they should just decide on a school uniform that is basically the same for everyone. Like, maybe have a design for spring/summer then a warmer one for fall/winter. Then people can still wear whatever they want at home and stuff.
They should be banned but not because it's distracting for males but just inappropriate in school, especially for a young girl. At least in my opinion.
No, because if it's hot outside of course girls are gonna wear shorts. So just because a guy sees a girls knees or legs he's instantly gonna get distracted yea okay whoever made that rule is dumb. If guys can wear shorts then girls can too.
Why can't guys just learn to focus? Why is it a woman's job to make sure the men learn? If he can't focus, maybe he's the problem.
I'm going to say super short shorts should not be in school, on the other hand what teenage boy won't be distracted by girls in uniform skirts too.
Teen boys are walking hormones to begin with so really what outfit won't be distracting.Everyone ought to wear uniforms. I mean that is the best option for school when kids from all sorts of background are studying together.
If girls can wear that then men should be allowed to wear this:
I accept that women and men are different but thinking like this leads to burkas as many other people here have already mentioned.
I saw people protesting over this. I don't care girls wearing this at home, at a party, in the park or at the beach. But personally I think a school needs to have a dress code. You send your kids to school to study not to exhibit sexiness.
Would you want to be told what you can wear and what you can? If you want women to cover up go live in an islamic country or you could just have some self control 🤦🏻♂️
