I’ve been ghosted by an employer after accepting a verbal offer. Is this normal?

I have been declining other offers as I accepted this verbal offer but now I can’t get hold of HR or the hiring manager and I haven’t heard from them for weeks.

Wow, that’s a LOT of interviews!!! And a long time too. You should try going there in person to follow up on it. That would be much more effective than phone or email, which can be ignored.
