How do I deal with being ghosted by a work colleague?

We have been on a couple of dates , but all of a sudden he ghosted me. I had a gut feeling he was going to because his texting pattern and the context of his texts had changed.

I'm embarrassed seeing him next in work, and I don't know what to do if he ignores me. Not sure why this has happened because I haven't done or said anything to him that could have caused it.

I know I shouldn't have gotten involved with a colleague. I've learned my lesson☹️

I would go on like it had never happened. Just continue with work as before, say hi, smile, not mention the dates or any ghosting. Try as much as not to be bothered by it. Fake it til I make it.

Ghost him back. Is what it is... so just pretend you have no feelings until you don't. If he has a change of heart he'll find his number has been blocked.

i’d act like it doesn’t affect me at but give him kinda the cold shoulder like just “ hi, bye” type. if he can even give you an explanation and just ghosts you knowing you guys had a thing he’s an ass.

This is why you don’t date colleagues. Things can grow sour real fast when things don’t work out (pun unintended) and cause so much workplace drama.

Go to work and act normal. Don't interact with him unnecessarily. Surely things will go well enough.
