Why did they invite me to the last stage when I didn't do the second stage interview?

So i applied for the Bank of Ireland graduate scheme way back in October 2021. After i applied i was told to do a video interview but i never did the interview. last week i get some email inviting me to the last stage down in London

Either there is something they like about you that makes you stand out and there making allowances based on everything with the pandemic.

Or they didn't have enough good applicants make it through the second stage so they are giving others a chance.

Either way if it's something your interested in go for it they might explain if you go to the next stage.

so weird tho since gradate schemes are very competitive and they would normally strike you out if you dont complete a stage
