I have been working at this place for three years i have a manager and two people that i trained and hired. Everything that leaves the office goes through me, and i am my boss when she's not around. Well a new position became available and she recommended the girl i trained to get the job. I asked why and if i'm lacking in work, or anything and she told me that i am an exceptional worker. The girl that i trained cried and told me that i was amazing and she didn't understand why my boss didn't recommend me. Also about a month ago I was asked to translate something in Spanish because i am the only hispanic in my dept. I said yes but that i needed to be compensated because that is not in my job description and translating documents into another language is a skill. - I don't know what to do is it me? What am i doing wrong
