If it was me BUT I don’t know what works best for you. If it was me, I would pull her aside tomorrow and tell her that I did not mop the floor and leave it in that condition. Secondly, I heard your concerns and will continue to do my work up to Standards.

Maybe a good response should have been, ‘no problem, I’ll make sure everyone is on the same page with the procedure.’ This does two things: 1) you’re being accountable and not trying to dodge the issue; and 2) you let the boss know its not just you who mops up.
