East Asians seem to have the most Neanderthal DNA in their genomes, followed by those of European ancestry. Africans, long thought to have no Neanderthal DNA, were recently found to have genes from the hominins comprising around 0.3 percent of their genome.28 Apr 2020

That last sentence is just an example of how jumping to conclusions and not keeping an open mind is foolish. Science is one of those things where new discoveries are always being made... INFORMATION is ""evolving""".

Well, when you talk science at GaG, you won't get many responses. Most folks here post about their political philosophy. But what you post did shake up some folks who actually do the science thing. I am not certain why this wouldn't be expected. But people in American society are really weird when it comes to race. We know that humans and neanderthals interbred. Why they would breed with some humans and not with others doesn't make much sense.

For 10 years, geneticists have told the story of how Neanderthals—or at least their DNA sequences—live on in today's Europeans, Asians, and their descendants. Not so in Africans, the story goes, because modern humans and our extinct cousins interbred only outside of Africa. A new study overturns that notion, revealing an unexpectedly large amount of Neanderthal ancestry in modern populations across Africa. It suggests much of that DNA came from Europeans migrating back into Africa over the past 20,000 years.
