Hard Work Vs Smart Work: which is better?

As its name suggests smart working is more logical but mostly. Hardly ever , hard working is required or desired to achieve something. Then , let's find and assume a motto : " Be 'smart' and execute working 'smartly' if logic comes first , think and try 'hard' on the 'hard' things to be achieved 'hardly' ever by executing 'hard' working. Lol it is more like a ridiculous quote rather than a motto. But anyway since everything starts in the mind therefore in the brain our making-up mechanism or decisions are also up to our 'smartness' , it is needed that choosing the most suitable one among the two of those depending or based on the method , technique , tactic or whatever it is , in my opinion.
I've done both, and I do both... sometimes you do not really have a choice, you do what you have to do
"smart work" can also take a toll and become a hardship, the mind gets really tired as well, and for some it can be worse than physical labour
if anything... I just say NO to stupid ways of work, the fruitless one
Smart is always better. Smart will still get the job done with unnecessary wasted energy. The only reason hardwork is ever praised it's because normally there is an employer somewhere that thinks that the harder you work or are willing to work, the more money you will make them. Life is short, don't break your back for anyone.
In some cheating can also be smart work but if it's done without cheating then smart work is better. You can get it done without too much energy.
Thanks for the MHO!

Depends on task
If it's deploying machines, for example, then smart work is best.
But in something like digging up the garden, then hard work with a little smart work (i. e. getting a small digger)
Hard work doesn't mean you must exert all the labour yourself.
When I see what nowadays is considered to be smart, then I'd say that these guys are thoroughly fucked when there's a situation that we need to grow or hunt our food ourselves.
Best, in my eyes: not avoiding hard work - but handling it in a smart way.
Smart work is better, but both are important. Ideally, one should work smart AND hard. What top level expert in their field got there without any hard work right? But, the people at the top also work smart.
You have to know when smart work is required and when to show hard work the one who excella in this skill is the one who gets the high end success mostly it in how you handle management and confuse then or how you build dependency in corporate world
You need some of each. One without the other won't get you nearly as far as a combination of the two.
Hard work builds yourself and those around you. Smart work is for lazy fucks looking for equal pay, recognition and no effort
I gotta go with hard work I’m a flooring installer, one of the more physical jobs out there and I love it. I wake up in the mornings feeling sore most days but I wouldn’t trade my work for anything. I could never sit in a office all day.
I pick hard work. Smart work is just a myth for the lazy.
Agreed
Hard work. Reduce why you're not wealthy down to one reason. If that reason is you "work" 8 hours, 5 days a week then work harder. 7 days a week 12-15 hours a day.
The real power is in knowing and doing when to do what.
There’s a time and a place for each.
I work smarter now harder well at least I try
Smart work is way more efficient.
