Why would a manager make rules according to what corporate wants when it’s not for the best interest of the business?

I see where they’re coming from but there’s no logic and things get crazy.. corporate is not there for that and the little things that help us along the way. Make things difficult for us, and everyone will quit.

Because he has to follow rules and do what the corporation says.

Maybe he should defend himself and tell his boss in detail and give examples on different scenarios as to why we need to do something a certain way
