I think throwing a drink on a manager is pretty significant. It's less about the action and more what it implies, a lack of respect for authority and their job. In addition, it depends on how heavy the drink was, was in a glass bottle, a coke can or plastic bottle? With liquid inside, it's enough to cause a hospital type injury too. But I understand your frustration, being their only thing to lean on. I had a similar thing happen today. I was supposed to have a relaxing afternoon entry into work showing up at 2pm but my boss called me last minute and said that she was having come in a 10am instead 🙄 I love managers sometimes 🙄

I don't know why they didn't just fire her.
They must be desperate for staff it they didn't fire her,
You should take advantage of this and ask for more money/threaten to quit.
Most likely they will hire a new dish washer soon, especially if you tell them you have difficulty doing two jobs at once, you probably will not have to deal with this situation too long. Tell them they need to step it up if they want to keep you around.
I totally agree with you they need to put there differences aside so each of you can do your jobs ✌️

Regardless, you shouldn’t be punished over something somebody else did. She should either be fired, or the manager should be doing the dishes.
This makes you wonder for sure, why not allow someone work with the manager they had before?
Sometimes things happen at work and pitching in and helping is the very best thing you can do.
I didn't know you had got a promotion! Congrats, man!
Sorry for this latest complication, though.Because that counts as assault and you don’t assault someone without repercussions.
It's inappropriate to treat your manager that way.
I agree with you
