So you’re prepping for SATs or equivalents? If I remember, you can retake many times. I’m not good at tests so I did the ACTs like 4 times which finally got me into UT despite my lower high school gpa.

Your father seems quite abusive. But college hopefully means you can move away on his dime. There are study books and counselors at stat universities that can help you. I wouldn’t give up on your dream. Seems completely in your grasp.

Going to university means leaving home. That, or you can just move out. You don’t need to worry about doing well to get a job in your field, having the degree period means more than what you did to get it, hence the saying “D’s get degrees”
