Annoying patient family will not stop talking when it's time for me to leave my shift. What's the best way to approach this?

The next time they do this again don’t contribute to the conversation. Just acknowledge their feelings and tell them you’re sorry but it’s time for you to go.
Can’t you switch patients? Do you have to stick with one patient? Call your agency, drop the shifts and pick up something else.
Thanks I'm not committed to this client schedule just helping out since no one else has really helped cover. I have a permanent client
Communication is the key & all you have to do is be open & honest with your annoying patients family & simply tell them I would love to stay & chat however I to have other patients to attend to & I have to hit the road.
I'm not going to mention other patient's I feel that's really none of their business. I do agree, I'll just let them talk for like 5 min then tell them I gotta go
