I really hate how they view some of those jobs as useless, just shows how crap an article it is.

For example, restroom attendant, yeah without those the floor would be flooded with urine, no toilet rolls, rubbish all over, just look at some toilets etc. I would say it’s a fairly critical job.

Lifeguard at Olympics… again, accidents happen, it’s part of the governing bodies rules and regulations across all levels of the sport.

Arts teacher, I am zero arty however I appreciate the skill some artists have, also the on going restoration carried out by fine art restorers.

I don’t really view most jobs as useless, as if the person is getting paid, then it’s an income for them.

it’s a really crap article, paint drying, that’s part of product approval that the paint process works, I’m sure people buying cars really hate when they have orange peel or their new car has been badly painted.

Yeah definitely influencers and insta models, I think only fans/ the professor at least I guess they're more giving people something/ learning. I reckon doormen are pretty ridiculous

I agree with you on gender studies professor (or any of the grievance studies for that matter). They are worse than useless in that they waste the time and energy of their consumers (students) and leave the worse off than they were before they started. They just end up miserable, unemployable and even less attractive for friendships and relationships. And if that weren't bad enough the poor sap students end up paying a shitload of money for all that.

Good liberal arts education is VERY different from grievance studies, but unfortunately it's becoming rarer to find so I understand you lumping them in together.

I WOULD say that insta-model and Only Fans chick are far more useful however as they do provide jack off material for their customers.

OnlyFans is entertainment offered for a price, no less useful than any other entertainment.

It's the same for influencers, they offer entertainment for free but get paid for the advertisements that are shown with their content. That's the same business model as over-the-air television.

So in your view we shouldn't study our history, just repeat the mistakes of the past? Although it seems we do that anyway.

influencer. cause bascially all you are is a tool for companies to promote their useless products. cause if their products were usefull and needed, they wouldn't need influencers to get people to buy it. gender studies would be my close second, cause it's not really a science but an ideology that bastardizes what science actually is. they push ideas and make the data fit instead of adapting the ideas to the data.
